The chest voice in women sometimes feels "hard" to the singer. In this lowest register the folds are moving more slowly and contacting each other over more surface. When the voice is connected well to an engaged diaphragm,  the resulting intensity seems wrong because it is strong. However, if this connection isn't there, the voice is weak and breathy. Remember, what you hear as the singer is NOT what we outside hear!

A FEW RESPONSES FROM PREVIEW LISTENERS (Others on order page):

I love, love, love your CD; that’s all I have been listening to!!! Rick

Your CD arrived Tuesday... All the songs were beautiful and "What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life" was really outstanding. Such a polished sound you have. The CD is really professional stuff! I loved the selections and the jazzy way several were done, voice over harmonies, telephone calls, a little saxophone solo.. WOW! Barry

I just loved it! You have a beautiful voice! Do you know who you remind me of? Fitgerald. There’s a striking similarity. Great voice! Awesome voice! Let me know when you finish the next one.  I really am impressed by you. You do good! Kevin
